Re: All Nighters remembered
Actually even after college days, I still pull an all-nighter. I iron my work clothes at the very last minute before bedtime, I pay my bills only when I receive payment reminders, and so much more! I guess the bad habit of procrastinating lingers with you for good! After each incident, I would very much feel guilty and promise myself that I will not delay things anymore. However, the very next day I am back to my bad procrastinating habits yet again!

Re: All Nighters remembered
Thanks for the great comments Steve. I have been fortunate in my engineering career to have pulled fewer all-nighters than I did in college. Arguably my work days have been less crazy for sure. An average day for me in grad school was getting to the lab to work at 8:30AM and leaving typically around 1:00-2:00AM. I learned a lot during that experience though. Indeed the hurricane victims need a lot of prayers and support and local churches are a great way to contribute. Our church here in NC works with the Baptist Men's Association and has a trailer with tools that is sent with willing and able men to help rebuild. They will need our help and prayers for many, many months to come.

All Nighters remembered
Hi Jonathan, Although it has been a long time since I "pulled an all nighter" in college (1968-1972), I do recall all-nighters in my design days and also as an apps engineer. The hurricane victims really do need our prayers and even financial help through your local churches---for those who care to donate

Space screening for the standard space product offerings which include products such as ADCs, DACs, comparators, amplifiers, voltage references, switches, isolators, regulators, and attenuators
Designs for space applications are commonly created with mission life expectations reaching 15 to 20 years and even longer in some cases
I’d like to take a step back from the details and specifics related to radiation testing and focus a bit on some of the reasons that advanced testing and screening is performed on space qualified products.
Technically an SET could also be considered as an SEU for a high speed ADC since it is likely that an ion strike could cause an SEU that results in a transient event that we would call an SET.
I’d like to take a little more time to look at SETs. There are a few more points that I’d like to cover on the topic before we move on to SEUs.
