Re: Physics? Yuck!
It looks rather complicated at first but as I go along the article, it helps to clarify my initial doubts. It does not take too long for me to grasp the concept behind how this thermal progress moves forward even when lesser graphics are being presented as compared to the lengthy write-up. There should really be a hands-on lesson for those who wish to find out more before exploring this topic on their own. The setup could be difficult to figure out if we just depend solely on hearsay alone especially info that is obtained from the internet.

70 bucks worth of Pelitier modules lay on my desk fryed beyond use.  So much for data sheet specs giving the correct story.

Physics? Yuck!
"Physics? Yuck!", well I know this "yuck! yuck!"'s pile is a yuck! :O.

I disliked chemistry up to the same entent as I disliked Spanish lessons while I was a teenager, and beyond. But there arrived the time when I became a university professor, with its associated extensive use of the Spanish language, and also the time when I collaborated in a project for measuring electrochemical noise for estimating corrosion velocity/rate in steel. Now I feel eager to learn new things every day. So my son's yuck! after my speach is: "Same story again? Yuck!", or well, its equivalent phrase in Spanish or Catalan, depending on the day ;D.

Thermal management can be less difficult with today's low-power technologies. Yet it is a very delicate design stage when designing circuits that will operate under situations where ambient or exterior temperatures are high. Some desert installations even require the use of small/medium peltier cells for cooling down certain components.

Thanks for this new series of posts!

Of all the components that go into a circuit, magnetics seem to have the most complexity in terms of several factors including construction, parasitics, linearity, and variations.
Automotive ignitions systems have seen many transitions over the years. Historically, the designs have matured from a magneto to today’s coil-over-spark plug designs. The progression follows the emergence of solid state electronics as well as the phasing out of mechanical components in favor of electrical components.
It’s been a while since I addressed Bode plots as a main subject so I thought this would be a good opportunity for a refresher on a very basic stability tool
Although they are a simple device, diodes do have a number of traits to consider. These traits are often application dependent.
Recently, I found that the area of hysteretic control offered me a change to look in a new area that simplifies control loop design to a degree
