What’s the Impact of Medical-Design Mandates?

Sometimes it makes me feel that the ultra-complicated regulations are mostly to subdue new companies trying to enter the industry which might challenge those already well established for decades. Those influencing the regulatory authority in writing such regulations mostly come from giant corporates who have a stronghold in the market.
