What's an "m" versus and "r" between friends?  And your bar-code scanner application makes a lot of sense-- those galvanometers used are the weak link, for sure.

I can see huge application for this in Bar code scanning, which currently almost invariably uses mechanical steering devices.  It would have to be a bit more developed than this but not a lot.

Oh and Bill... "Yes, there are all-Geranium (Ge) devices in use"

I have some all-Geranium flower pots out the front of my house... :-)
