Broadband MMIC amplifier delivers high linearity

Newton Aycliffe, United Kingdom—Filtronic Compound Semiconductors Ltd. has released a high linearity broadband MMIC amplifier dubbed the FMA3025SOT89E.

The FMA3025SOT89 operates over the 250- to 4000-MHz frequency band and is fabricated using GaAs pHEMT technology. It features a lead-free industry standard SOT89 package; a single 5V supply; 14B Gain (at 0.9GHz); I/O return losses of <-15B; 24Bm P1db output power at 5V; output IP3 greater than 40dBm in any condition; and 2.2dB NF.

Applications include mobile infrastructure (GSM, Edge, GPRS, WCDMA, CDMA); WLAN, WiBro, WiMAx, RFID, CATV; final PA for low power applications; and general purpose amplification.
