CISSOID introduces high temperature 80 V small-signal N-channel MOSFET

High temperature semiconductor specialist, CISSOID has introduced a new high temperature 80 V small-signal N-channel MOSFET transistor in its Planet family of high temperature transistors and switches.

Mercury is a high temperature device with guaranteed operating temperature range from -55 to +225 degrees C. With its temperature robustness, its input capacitance of only 32 pF and its gate leakage limited to 5.6 uA at 225 degrees C, the 80 V transistor is ideally suited for high temperature sensor interfaces such as piezoelectric sensor or to implement a guard amplifier.

The logic-level MOSFET sinks up to 230 mA at 225 degrees C and can also be used to switch medium or high resistances, e.g. to convert a 3.3 V/5 V logic signal to a high-voltage open-drain output with turn on/off times lower than 5 ns.

Finally, with the gate tied to the source, Mercury can be used as an 80 V small current diode for high reliability at high temperature.

Availability and Pricing

Mercury, referenced as CHT-SNMOS80 is now available in TO-39 Metal Can package for sampling and evaluation. Pricing starts at 129 up to 200 units.
