Digital amplifier board jams audiophile quality in a tiny package

Torrance, Calif. — Flying Mole Electronics Corp.'s digital amplifier board features a built-in power supply and super compact size.

This mini-board is the first of its kind to mount an individual power supply to two 30-W channels of audiophile quality sound — all in about the size of a pack of cigarettes, according to the company.

Features include a power supply that ensures continuous output of 50 W (150 W at peak), low noise, a compact power supply (full-resonance type), and very high efficiency (80 percent at rated output power).

Applications include large screen flat type TVs, compact active loudspeakers, electronic musical instruments, game machines, amusement park rides, and karaoke machines.
