NJR has announced the NJU26904 digital audio delay IC, with internal delay memory that can be used to adjust the output time of a six-channel signal. The part suits applications such as delay time adjustment in DVD-audio/video products and time alignment for car audio speakers.
Specifications include a delay data width of 24 bits, a delay time of 169 ms at fs = 48 kHz, and an adjustable delay time with 1 sample unit for 8,121 samples at maximum. Other features include selectable input sources for each channel, an I2 C host interface, and operation from a 3.3-V supply.
Packaging is in a 24-pin lead-free SSOP.
