Dallas—Texas Instruments' TMP275 digital-output temperature sensor, suited for communications, computer, consumer, environmental, industrial and instrumentation applications, is accurate to ±0.5°C from +10 to +85°C. It's accurate to ±0.75°C from 0 to +100°C.

Its two-wire serial interface is I2 C/SMBus-compatible. Additional features include programmable resolution (9- to 12-bit), up to eight different addresses for flexibility in interface bus designs, low-power consumption (0.5 microamp), and 0.1 microamp shutdown current.
