  • GaN is a good candidate for the application
  • Possible to operate TM and ZVS at light loads

  • Firmware voltage loop and power management
  • Hardware current loop
  • Control both low-frequency switches and high-frequency switches
  • Dynamic zero or negative current detection for IDE or ZVS control
  • Dynamic dead time control

2. HF LLC Converter

  • High-performance resonant converter with relatively few components
  • Ground-referenced output stage
  • Single half-bridge on primary side
  • Resonant inductor can (partially) be made from transformer leakage
