Dual-triple-quad sequencer/supervisors ease design-in

Sunnyvale, Calif.&#8212Offering maximum flexibility to ease design-in across multiple platforms, Maxim's MAX16025/16026/16041 dual voltage monitor/supervisors, the MAX16027/16028/16042 triple devices, and the MAX16029/16030/16043 quad devices for power-sequencing applications offer fixed and adjustable threshold-setting through logic inputs, and sequence timing via small external capacitors.

The MAX16025, MAX16027, and MAX16029's outputs, and their reset outputs, are open-drain. The MAX16026, MAX16028, and MAX16030 have push-pull outputs, and the MAX16041, MAX16042, and MAX16043 have open-drain outputs with a push-pull reset output. All devices operate from 2.2 to 28 volts, with outputs capable of handling up to 28 volts to allow them to easily interface with standard bus voltages.



Two logic inputs are used to select one of nine threshold options. These nine options offer fixed (3.3, 2.5, 1.8, 1.5, and 1.2 volts) and user-adjustable thresholds for monitoring voltages as low as 0.5 volt.
The MAX16025-MAX16030 and MAX16041, 16042, and 16043 also include enable inputs for controlling each monitor, a tolerance input to select for a -7.5 percent or -12.5 percent nominal threshold, a manual-reset input, and a fixed- or adjustable-reset timeout feature.
