This comprehensive software upgrade includes over 25 new features and enhancements such as e-Coupon with customer association, e-Mail receipt, next generation in-aisle consumer price checker, and Round Up for Charity.
Catapult's e-Coupon functionality allows users to create special promotions that can be assigned to specific customers and set to activate automatically at the POS when promotion requirements have been met by the customer. The e-Coupon feature rounds out Catapult's already extensive automated loyalty system capability, which empowers retailers to manage their own loyalty and marketing programs without the use of non-integrated, often expensive third-party services.
Customers can opt-in to receive digital e-receipts via email for their purchase transactions. Digital receipts are delivered to the designated email address within seconds and are viewable on mobile devices, such as smart phones. This saves receipt paper, reduces cost, and adds to customer convenience and satisfaction. e-Receipt is a great option for stores looking toward “greener” and more efficient methods of doing business.
ECRS's next generation in-aisle price checker solution enables consumers to scan items and quickly receive real-time, accurate prices, including current discounts. An aesthetically pleasing graphical interface guides consumers easily through their transactions. The ECRS price checker is compact and can be mounted anywhere with a standard VESA wall mount.
Round Up for Charity allows consumers to round up any transaction to the nearest dollar in order to donate the extra amount to a charitable cause. With Catapult 5.2, the cashier has no extra work or math to do as the system automatically does the rounding with the press of a button and distributes the funds as needed. This is a great way to build local community support while giving back to important charitable causes.
