Exar Demonstrates Programmable Power, Interface Solutions at IC Expo in China

FREMONT, Calif. , June 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Exar Corporation (Nasdaq: EXAR) will demonstrate its programmable power — PowerXR and Interface solutions at the China IC Expo tradeshow to be held in Shenzhen , at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, Wednesday, June 2, 2010 through Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Booth  #6106 .  

IC Expo attendees can see the PowerXR device family (XRP7704, XRP7708, XRP7713, XRP7714, and XRP7740) of multi-channel fully reconfigurable DC to DC digital PWM controllers. On display will be several solutions with PowerXR devices including Set top Box (STB), Industrial Personal Computer (IPC) and Digital Media Player (DMP).  PowerXR devices target consumer, networking, and industrial applications. Additionally, Exar Interface products – Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter (UART) — will be on display that supports PCIe, SPI/I2C, and other interface standards. Also, there will be a UART demonstration board for GSM, CDMA  cell phone designs.  Exar's Interface products are used in industrial, consumer, telecommunications equipment.
