Santa Clara, Calif. Agilent Technologies Inc. has extended its function/arbitrary waveform family with the introduction of the 33210A 10-MHz instrument that claims high-quality waveforms at an economical price. For design development and test engineers who need lower frequency signals without sacrificing accuracy, the 33210A 10-MHz function/arbitrary waveform generator generates the waveforms needed for bench and system applications.
The 33210A provides stable, accurate and low-distortion signals with up to 10 built-in waveforms. The front panel provides an easy-to-use interface, allowing the user to quickly set up and generate many types of signals without the need to program the instrument. For more complex waveforms, the optional 14-bit 50 MSa/s 8K point arbitrary waveform generator (option 002) can be added to the base unit.
The 33210A is fully compliant with the LXI class C specification. It offers USB 2.0, 10/100 Base-T Ethernet (LAN) and GPIB interfaces as standard features, enabling simple connectivity to a PC or a network. In addition, it can be remotely operated from any browser by simply connecting to its built-in Web page.
Pricing: The 33210A is available now and priced at $1,195 for the base model. The optional 14-bit 50 MSa/s 8K point arbitrary waveform generator (option 002) is also available. For a limited time, this option will be offered at no additional cost.
