Integration Nation Now Fully Integrated With Planet Analog

Has it been a whole year already? If you're reading this, you're probably wondering what happened to Integration Nation, your discrete stop for the past year for the information, advice, people, and feedback you need to understand the advantages and tradeoffs associated with integrated analog solutions.

From energy, automotive, and industrial to sensors and the IoT, we've covered it all, and we have had a lot of fun along the way. Now it's time to integrate the discussion more fully with the overall Planet Analog discussion flow under the site's new editor-in-chief, Steve Taranovich. He is on an impassioned mission to enhance educational opportunities and mentor current and next-generation analog designers and engineers while keeping them up to date on new techniques, products, and applications.

We hope you have enjoyed the Integration Nation discussions as much as we have. All these discussions will remain an integral part of the site as it evolves in 2014 under Steve Taranovich's steady hand. If you have any suggestions, or if you want to contribute directly to Planet Analog yourself, please feel free to contact him at or call his mobile phone at (631) 413-1834.

I think that this section is really useful not only to keep the new engineers informed about the technical issues that a IoT designer has to solve. Moreover this section puts on evidence the importance of integrated solutions, to create smarter systems, having a wealth of functionalities that can help the user in his  daily activity whatever it is work, sport , entertainment, etc…

I think that integration is the modern trend of the electronics , the integration may refer to integrate functionalities on a SoC or to integrate components or whole blocks in an IC. The integration trend is increasing time by time and integration implies a new approach to  the system architecture: having more functionalities means more power and more potential for the final user.

I do agree with Ranasinghe, the integration is becoming really a key factor, I find that a fully integrated site born from Planet Analog and its Integration  Nation section is a great place to find good ideas for electronics engineers working on the ICs.

The new system is excellent; now we have all the analog design news and information alongside the latest in integration all under one single roof. This exchange of ideas at the same venue will, it is my hope, encourage more development towards the achievement of even greater integration between different areas of analog design and engineering.

In my opinion, integration in deed is the modern trend in electronics. It is also true that integration to engineers is a very important factor since it keeps them informed on technical issues related to IoT and how they can be solved. And for this matter I would like to encourage as many engineers as possible to be part of integrated nation.

Over the past few years, one of the key areas that Integration nation has been focusing on is the developments that have been taking place in the world of Internet of Things devices. It is interesting to note that these very same discussions have also been a key area of focus for planet analog. This similarity underlines and illustrates just how important integration is to the future of analog design and engineering.

This is an interesting development on integration considering that the engineering field is being bombarded with new technologies each and every other day. It has useful information on the importance of integration to engineers as it addresses possible arising issues in design and gives solutions on how they can be sorted. The great information on adoption of smart phones and its creation as well as wearable technologies for example bracelets and watches I should say have been of great help to many.

Collaboration is always good! Especially if the whole editorial team can now cross post articles that help both communities. I believe that the reach of both the sites should have improved now that there's this bigger and better developed stop for all of the analog articles in one place. I'm sure that you guys will continue to do well now having integrated and joined with each other! I most definitely will still be following! Cheers!
