Seoul, South Korea—MagnaChip Semiconductor Ltd. launched the PA7551, a Low Temperature Poly Silicon (LTPS) LCDdriver for mobile phones.
The PA7551 offers WQVGA (240RGBx432) resolution and 260,000 colors, and supports the Mobile Display Digital Interface (MDDI).
The PA7551 includes various video conversions, such as screen split and rotation. It embeds an EEPROM, allowing module makers to improve and adjust image quality.
By providing options to select between 320 and 432 driving lines, the PA7551 can support resolution from QVGA through WQVGA. The PA7551 offers low power consumption suitable for mobile devices, with partial display mode, refresh rate control, and an outputbuffer bias conversion function.
