Leuven, Belgium – In time for this year's Design Automation Conference (DAC 2009), analog EDA vendor Mephisto Design Automation (MDA) has released the latest version of M-DESIGN, its analog, mixed-signal and custom-digital design platform.
Among the enhancements to M-DESIGN AMS platform 3.0 is a new M-CRAFT evaluation set-up manager, which helps users capture design intent. Additional migration capabilities are said to optimise the retargeting of analog, mixed-signal and custom digital circuits to new process technologies (foundries and/or nodes).
“Our new M-CRAFT module combined with M-DESIGN's Advanced Flow Control gives designers unique control over the specification and simulation of complex design problems”, said Kenneth Francken, CEO of Mephisto Design Automation. M-CRAFT integrates with M-DESIGN's Advanced Flow Control to set-up evaluation schemes for verification and auto-documentation engines, apparently speeding up the process migrating existing IP.
M-DESIGN 3.0 will be on show at DAC 2009 (booth #521), with the new platform available as a beta version from August 2009.
