Ever wonder what our kids will be doing in the class rooms? I guess they'll be immersed in VR in their favorite virtual environments during boring lectures.

@SunitaTO: Yes getting through to people is not that easy. You have to market right towards their head

@netcrawl: launching a startup is always easy, but getting the right funds to get the idea across to people is not easy. This is one of the many reasons why we see kickstarter campaigns all over the internet. People pay for what they like to see. Sometimes they fund stupid things too, like the infamous watermelon holder that managed to raise over 7k pounds.

@nasimson: If the lecture is boring, then current technology will always get the attention of students. In our days we used to solve puzzles at the back of our notebooks pretending to be scribbling away the lecture notes.

Sef Decipline is required in anything you do if you really need to be a success story. I also agree with your comment on the flipside of the story.

I think its a very good point you are making here. There is no question that students will be provided with bettr opportunities and technologies in schools, but in the same time - Good mentoring is also very vital.

This will help the new inventions to be in right direction and more importantly for the well being of humans.

Your comment reminded me of my university days when some students had their laptops open in a class of Mathematical Modeling for Management. Instructor thought they were making mathematical models in excel. Where as they were watching some music videos.

Move back 25 years and we had concerns that terrorists would use email to communicate faster & discreetly. Move forward to 2014 and terrorists have used email, but the security has come a long way too.

So bring on quantum computers, both security and anti-social will have a catch up race.

A battery management system (BMS), in addition to many other functions, has to closely monitor voltage, current, and the temperature of battery cells and packs. Temperature measurement is important in preserving the operational characteristics of both the cells and the BMS itself, as well as optimizing the state of health (SOH) by preventing degradation.
