The MGA-24106 is a low-noise amplifier (LNA) which is housed in a miniature uDFN (1.5mm x 1.2mm x 0.5mm) package. Designed for GPS/ISM/Wimax applications in the (0.9-3.5) GHz frequency range, the device offers a very low noise figure combined with high linearity which improves the sensitivity of the GPS receiver. The LNA also uses Avago Technologies' proprietary GaAs Enhancement-mode pHEMT process to achieve high gain with a very low noise figure. A CMOS-compatible shutdown pin is included either for turning the LNA on/off, or for current adjustment. At the typical operating condition of Vsd 2.8V and 3.3mA, the MGA-24106 delivers an exceptional performance of .97dB Noise Figure, 17.9dB Gain and “2.0dBm IIP3 (Input Third Order Intercept Point)
