Micrel launches smallest dual LDO family

San Jose, Calif.—Micrel Inc. has launched a family of dual low dropout voltage linear regulators.

The MIC5380 and the MIC5381 are part of a new family of dual LDOs, offering low dropout voltage of 155mV@150mAmp, more than 60db Power Supply Ripple Rejection (PSRR) and low quiescent current 32microA, in the smallest possible form factor, according to Micrel.

This family is offered in a miniscule 1.0 mm x 1.0 mm 6 pin leadless thin MLF package making them well-suited for advanced and smallest portable applications, including cellular phones, RF power, camera modules, imaging sensors for digital still and video cameras, PDAs, portable media players (PMP) and PC cameras.
