NASA: It’s Rocket Science

Rocket Science is based upon math and science principles. Newton's Laws of Motion and the forces on a rocket are critical to the successful launch of any spacecraft. Scientists need a firm grasp of the center of gravity, thrust, stability, and combustion principles in order to successfully and safely put satellites and astronauts into space.

Take a look at the following equations and let us know which of them you can correctly identify. I have some good tech books for those who can successfully identify most of these equations.

I will give you until the first full week of November at which time, on November 10, I will choose the winners and the book selection from which they can choose (I can only ship books domestically)

Very generous Steve but I would say that those who get most questions WRONG are the ones who will need the books the most…. 🙂

It will be quite useful to have quick access to this information. Goodmenproject is my go-to website. It’s also a book I’d recommend. I was able to learn how to format an academic article from academics while writing this essay.
