Phoenix, Ariz.—Expanding its existing high-speed, low-power op-amp portfolio, ON Semiconductor's cost-effective NCS25xx family of 500 MHz-1.4 GHz devices are designed for high definition video applications (set-top boxes, security video cameras, video switching).
The NCS25xx family includes the NCS2510 and NCS2511 current feedback op-amps that work at up to 1.4, and 1 GHz, respectively. These low-current (12, 7.5 mA, respectively) devices are offered in a TSOP-5/SOT-23-5 package. The NCS2510 and NCS2511 are priced at $1.40 and $1.25 each (all op amps in 3k unit quantities).
The NCS2535 and NCS2540 are triple op-amps suited for driving component video. The NCS2535 is a 1.4 GHz current feedback op amp with a disable function; the NCS2540 is a 750 MHz voltage feedback op-amp with disable function. Both devices are offered in a TSSOP-16 package. The NCS2535 and NCS2540 are priced at $1.90, and $1.75, respectively.
The NCS2550 and NCS2552 are voltage feedback op-amps working at 750 MHz. The NCS2552 comes with an ultrafast enable feature (5 ns). The NCS2550 is offered in a TSOP-5/SOT-23-5 package, while the NCS2552 is offered in the TSOP-6/SOT-23-6 package. The NCS2550 and NCS2552 are priced at $1.35, and $1.40, respectively.
The NCS2551 is a voltage feedback op-amp working at 500 MHz. This device boasts a slew rate of 1400 V/ms at 5.5 mA. The NCS2551 is offered in a TSOP-5/SOT-23-5 package, and is priced at $1.25 each.
