QML-V op amps provide SEL immunity

A family of operational amplifiers from ST Microelectronics provides single-event latch-up (SEL) immunity to linear energy transfers (LETs) as high as 120 MeV•cm2 /mg at 125 °C and tolerates total ionizing doses (TID) of up to 300 krad(Si). Targeted at aerospace applications, the devices meet the QML-V spec with protection against single-event transient (SET) glitches caused by heavy ions.  

The family includes the RHF43B, a precision bipolar operational amplifier that features a 100 µV offset voltage and an operating voltage range from 3 to 16 V.

The RHF484 is a rail-to-rail precision bipolar quad device boasting an input offset voltage 60 µV and a supply voltage of 4 to 14 V. The op amp is free of enhanced low-dose-rate sensitivity (ELDRS) up to 100 krad.

Optimized for high-speed, portable applications, the RHF310 provides a bandwidth of 120 MHz while requiring 2 mW of power and a quiescent current of 400 µA.

Rounding out the lineup is the RHF330, a current-feedback op amp with a 1 GHz bandwidth coupled with a 16.6 mA current draw. Designed for high-speed, low-distortion operation, the device offers two-fold gain flat to within 0.1 dB, at frequencies up to 160 MHz.
