Maldon, Essex, EnglandCML Microcircuits has added a quadrature receiver to its RF IC line.
CML Microcircuits' CMX992 is an RF receiver for analog and digital radio systems that operates from 100MHz to 1GHz and features an I/Q architecture to support multiple modulation types and bandwidths with a single radio design.
The CMX992 is designed to meet the challenging requirements of wireless data and PMR/LMR radio systems. It uses a superheterodyne receiver section along with IF local oscillator circuitry.
The CMX992 integrates first mixer, Rx demodulators, IF PLL, and IF VCO subsystems that minimize the external circuits needed to implement a complete receiver. User-selected modes suit different application requirements.
The CMX992 operates at 3.3V/1.8V and comes in a 48-pin VQFN package. An evaluation kit (EV9920) and support tools are also available.
