Santa Clara, Calif.Intended for engineers searching for ways to improve performance while reducing the size of their dual-band WiFi and UWB designs, NEC has developed an SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) GaAs MMIC switch that delivers low insertion loss with high isolation over the 2.4 to 6.0 GHz frequency ranges.
Designated UPG2185T6R, this SPDT switch is housed in a miniature 1.0 x 1.0 x 0.37 mm 6 pin package. Typical specifications include an operating frequency of 2.4 to 6.0 GHz; control voltage of +3.0/0V; insertion loss of 0.40dB @ 2.5GHz and 0.50dB @ 6.0 GHz; and isolation of 26dB @ 2.5GHz and 25dB @ 6.0GHz.
Pricing: $0.33 at 100K pieces.
