The e-health program: A new approach to health care, by utilizing electronic technology, Part 6

Electronics technology is playing a progressively more important role in the field of health care because it offers many possibilities; for example, the remote monitoring of patient’s conditions by tracking the physical parameters. One instance is monitoring the heart rate or blood pressure in order to enhance the quality of their life, this is known as Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM):

The electronics solutions for RPM are multiple, such as the motion sensors that track the movements of the patient inside their own home (see Figure 1)

The effectiveness and the reliability of the electronic components inside a remote monitoring system are key factors, for this reason these components are accurately engineered, developed and integrated (see Figure 2):
