In his keynote presentation, TI CEO, Rich Templeton, will explore how embedded systems technology can change the world. In various panel discussions with TI experts, developers can also learn about building with Android, emerging opportunities and challenges in medical electronics, and building versus buying hardware devices and software solutions.

Panel discussion: Build vs. Buy: Roll your own HW/SW vs. Buying off the shelf – Stop by ESC Theater 2 as TI's Adrian Valenzuela participates in the debate to build versus buy hardware devices and software solutions.

Panel discussion: New horizons in medical electronics – TI's Steve Dean will be participating in a discussion on emerging opportunities and challenges in medical electronics including: networked home health systems, implantables, artificial everything, robotics in medicine and more. The panel will be held in ESC Theater 1.

Training: eZ430-Chronos: Teardown of a reprogrammable wireless watch development tool – Come learn about all the components in the eZ430-Chronos kit, its on-board sensor and RF capability and overview of all the currently available software projects. The first 125 attendees receive a free Chronos.

Learn about the recently announced AM18x evaluation module featuring a LCD touch screen, Qt user interface and industrial control simulation. Also, see how the complete signal chain included in the new C5515 Fingerprint Development Kit enables developers to easily integrate fingerprint biometrics into products. The Embedded Communications and Camera Development Kits, based on the DM368 DaVinci video processor, enable affordable HD video communications and allow improved image quality and intelligent video encoding.
