Tracking down analog parts won’t be a cat and mouse game

Mouser Electronics has signed up analog and mixed signal specialist, Leadis Technology to supply display drivers, power management ICs, LED drivers, touch sensors, and audio CODECs, primarily for mobile and consumer electronic devices.

Commenting on the agreement, Mike Scott, Mouser vice president of Active Products said: “Leadis is truly an innovator in the areas of sight, sound, and touch. For years, design engineers in Asia have trusted Leadis for their cutting-edge, patented products and Mouser can now offer those to customers throughout the world.”

Among the products Mouser will carry are Leadis' LDS8845 4-channel LED driver, which has a high efficiency current regulator that can drive up to four LEDs, plus the LDS6000 IC, a single controller that can control 15 sensor inputs.

The Leadis distribution agreement is the latest of several for Mouser. Other recent additions to Mouser's line include Wurth Electronics Midcom's inductors and EMC components, Sagrad's WiFi portfolio, Delorme's mapping and GPS products, CalAmp's UHF and VHF transceiver and telemetry modules, and IAR Systems' MCU and MPU development tools.
