Supporting WSVGA (1024 x 600) resolution, Korean mixed signal company MagnaChip Semiconductor's latest TFT-LCD driver chip is one of the first of its kind for mid sized applications, such as ultra mobile PCs, personal mobile players, personal navigation devices and car navigation systems.
MagnaChip has optimised the chip for web browsing applications. It can reproduce up to 1.6 million colours and also suits VGA (640 x 480) and WVGA (800 x 480) resolutions. Support for the LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signal) interface is included, which has become widely adopted in mid-sized applications. For more information, visit Magnachip’s website
